Educational field trips and school tours to the farm are more important today than ever before, as fewer children live on a farm or have any other opportunity to see how plants and animals are grown for food.
And Seward Farms is an ideal classroom! This is a 3rd generation, working family farm with over 3,000 acres. We grow cotton, peanuts, grain and beef cattle, and, of course, corn—with a good chunk set aside for the Seward Farms Corn Maze!
Treat your students to an unforgettable field trip that offers an “Agriculture in the Classroom” opportunity. With a goal to provide fun and educational activities for the community, we’ll expose your students to “agriculture in the process” in a way that makes memories that will last a lifetime.
We are continually growing and making improvements, and strive to make every year a new and different experience.
